Frequently Asked Questions

Hand wash your swimwear in cold water with just a drop of laundry detergent! Lay flat to dry. Avoid rough services and excess oils/lotions when wearing your Bare Bikini. 

We have a 14-day size/style exchange policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. 

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For custom pieces - one time size exchanges will be accepted. 

To start an exchange, you can contact us at barebikinis@gmail.com. Please be as detailed as possible with the fit concern (photos are helpful) so your next piece will be made perfect (i.e. band is too small/large, cup size too small/large, waist band is too big. etc). If requesting a style exchange please reach out via email so we can discuss what piece would work better for you! Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Each item is handmade by me personally and currently ~6-8 weeks plus shipping time and during peak swim season (March-August) I have the longest turnaround times so please plan accordingly (up to 10 weeks). I do keep a banner at my homepage updeated with current times or any delays happening. When purchasing, you agree to the turnaround time and once your item has started being made (cut out) you cannot cancel it. Once your order is received, you can return your item unworn/undamaged within 14 days. If your item is custom you will need to request a size or style exchange by email within the 14 days.
